As Data Services Librarian in the Digital Research & Publishing group at the University of Iowa Libraries, I work with some super-creative people to design digital library solutions and help faculty pursue digital research projects . I'm especially interested in freeing metadata from closed systems and leveraging linked data/semantic web technologies to empower users with new tools for reinterpreting and recontextualizing digital content and data. I love standards, flowcharts, biking, and building things.
