I am currently working as a software engineer in the Emory Libraries, but I also have a PhD in English Literature from Emory (in undergrad I double majored in English & Math/Computer Science). I wrote my dissertation on T. S. Eliot's Four Quartets & Susan Howe's The Nonconformist's Memorial engaging ideas of nonlinearity & hypertext and how they might inform our reading of poetry like Eliot's & Howe's. In my work at the library, I have worked on the Electronic Theses & Dissertation site, the Finding Aids, and other projects related to digital humanities. I am on the look-out for ways to better engage my scholarly-self with my programmer-self.
